Solvent-Free Additive to Speed Up Curing of Sikafloor and Sikadur Epoxies

Sikafloor Epoxy Booster is a solvent-free accelerator additive designed to speed up the curing time of various Sikafloor and Sikadur epoxy systems.

Uses:

• As an accelerator for Sikafloor-160, Sikafloor-161, Sikafloor-264, and Sikafloor-94.
• As an accelerator for Sikadur 31, Sikadur 32, and Sikadur 33 epoxy mortars and pastes.

Application:

Add between 5% and 20% Booster to the standard Hardener (Part B). For example, for 1 kg of Part B, add 0.05 kg to 0.20 kg of Booster.

Limits:

• Minimum substrate temperature: +10 °C
• Maximum substrate temperature: +25 °C
• Maximum relative humidity: 85%
• Observe dew point.
• Substrate moisture content: less than 4% or use Sikafloor EpoCem.
• Only apply to mineral substrates.
• The A-component must be well mechanically stirred before proportioning and mixing.
• Sikafloor Epoxy Booster used with any sealer top coats system will discolour in UV light.

Cleaning:

Clean application equipment immediately with Colma Cleaner. Hardened material may only be removed mechanically. Wash hands and skin thoroughly with warm soapy water.

• Density (at 20 °C): 0.98 kg/L
• Viscosity (at 20 °C): 117 mPas

Storage and Shelf Life:

Store in dry conditions at +5 °C to +30 °C in unopened original container. Shelf life is at least 24 months from the date of production.

Safety Precautions:

• Product may cause skin irritation. Wear gloves and goggles and apply barrier cream to hands.
• When used indoors or in confined spaces, please provide good ventilation during application and curing.

Ecology:

In liquid state, Sikafloor Booster contaminates water and should be disposed of strictly in accordance with local regulations.
