Sika MonoTop-910 N is a cementitious, polymer modified one-component coating material containing silica fume used as a bonding primer and reinforcement corrosion protection for reinforcement. Sika MonoTop-910 N meets the requirements of EN 1504-7.
Composition: Portland cement, silica fume, re-dispersible polymer powder, selected aggregates and additives.
Packaging: 20 kg bags
Shelf Life: 12 months
Storage Conditions: Store properly in undamaged original sealed packaging, in dry cool conditions between +5 °C and +35°C.
Appearance and Colour: Grey powder
Density: Fresh mortar density ~1.9 kg/l
Soluble Chloride Ion Content: ≤ 0.01 %
Compressive Strength: ~50 MPa after 28 days
Tensile Adhesion Strength: ≥ 2.0 MPa after 28 days
Sika MonoTop-910 N is part of the range of Sika mortars complying with the relevant part of European Standard EN 1504, comprising the following:
Mixing Ratio: For large volume: 2.0 - 2.2 litres of water per 10 kg bag; 4.0 - 4.4 litres of water per 20 kg bag. For small volume: 4 parts of powder to 1 part of water by volume.
Consumption: Bonding Primer: ~1.5 – 2.0 kg of powder per m² per mm thickness.
Layer Thickness: As bonding primer - sufficient to coat the concrete surface in a thin layer filling unevenness, pores, and pits. As reinforcement corrosion protection - 2 mm minimum thickness.
Ambient Air Temperature: +5°C minimum; +30°C maximum.
Substrate Temperature: +5°C minimum; +30°C maximum.
Pot Life: ~90 to 120 minutes at +20°C.
Initial Set Time: ~5.5 hours.
Final Set Time: ~7.5 hours.
Substrate Quality / Pre-treatment: Concrete should be thoroughly clean, free from dust, loose material, surface contamination, and materials that reduce bond or prevent suction or wetting by repair materials. De-laminated, weak, damaged, and deteriorated concrete should be removed by suitable means.
Mixing: Sika MonoTop-910 N can be mixed with a low-speed (<500 rpm) electric drill mixer. For small quantities, it can also be mixed by volume in a 4:1 powder-to-water ratio.
Application: Apply by brush, roller, or suitable spraying equipment to the prepared (pre-wetted) substrate. Apply the bonding primer while it is still wet.
Curing Treatment: Protect the fresh mortar immediately from premature drying and contamination using an appropriate curing method.
Cleaning of Equipment: Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.

Colour Accuracy Disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.
Product Disclaimer: Ensure you read all product, technical and safety data sheets prior to application as liability falls on the applicator. All products must be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended method.
