Wear Guard High Impact is a high-density, micro-alumina ceramic bead-filled epoxy system with urethane acrylate, designed to protect equipment exposed to severe impact and abrasion.

Its non-sagging putty consistency makes it suitable for repairing and protecting equipment where high impact, compression and wear resistance are required. It is designed for applications involving pumps, scrubbers, screens, chutes, material handling equipment and screw conveyors.

Wear Guard High Impact can be trowelled onto vertical surfaces without sagging and can be applied at a minimum thickness of 6.4 mm. After curing, the repaired surface can be machined, drilled or painted.

Key Features and Benefits

  • High impact resistance: Designed for equipment exposed to tremendous impact and flex.
  • Extreme wear resistance: Designed for demanding abrasion applications.
  • Ceramic-filled epoxy: Contains high-density micro-alumina ceramic beads.
  • Non-sag consistency: Creamy putty stays in position during vertical application.
  • High compression strength: Designed for demanding equipment protection.
  • High impact strength: Formulated for severe impact environments.
  • Maximum Vertical Application Thickness: 3/4" (19.05 mm) without sagging
  • Machinable after cure: Can be machined, drilled or painted after full cure.
