5 to 1. Stellmann Non-Slip Clear Part A = 5 and Part B is 1.
Calculation: multiply the amount of Part A in the mixing cup by 0.2. The result is the amount of Part B that needs to be added. Alternatively, multiply the amount of Part A in the mixing cup by 1.2. The result is the total amount that needs to be reached by adding Part B. Example: 200 grams of Part A is added in a mixing cup. Add 40 grams of Part B. Calculation method 1: 0.2 x 200 = 40 grams. Method 2: 1.2 x 200 = 240.
Please carefully read the Data Sheet, Material Safety Data Sheet, and any precautionary labels on the containers before use.
Applying Stellmann Non-Slip coatings to metals, such as steel and aluminium, can be challenging due to their inherently smooth surfaces and limited bonding for coatings. To enhance adhesion, the use of a primer is essential, providing a chemical or mechanical bond between the coating and the metal. However, to achieve a similar adhesion of our coating to metals as to surfaces such as tiles, concrete, vinyl, or marble, it is recommended to sand the surface first.
Surface Preparation
Before applying Stellmann Non-Slip coatings to metal surfaces, it is recommended to sand the surface with a 400 grit pad to increase the surface area and improve primer and coating adhesion.
Primer Application
A standard Stellmann Clear Primer is a water-based primer is suitable for use on metals. Alternatively, the Mipa Coatings 1K Haftpromoter Primer, a single-component, solvent-based option, is also effective and available from Mipa Australia.
Application
Refer to the Stellman Non-Slip Clear PRO Technical Data Sheet for the installation instructions.
Galvanised Steel / Raised Profiles
Please be aware that galvanized steel and other metals with raised profiles are more susceptible to accelerated wear. The sharp edges and points on these raised areas, combined with their limited surface area, create higher levels of mechanical stress and abrasion compared to flat surfaces. This additional stress can result in faster wear and deterioration of the coating, as raised profiles are more exposed to friction, impacts, and external elements like weathering or abrasive contact.

Colour Accuracy Disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.
Product Disclaimer: Ensure you read all product, technical and safety data sheets prior to application as liability falls on the applicator. All products must be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended method.
