Proper surface prep is critical for long-lasting results:

Best practice: diamond grind to remove laitance, open pores & ensure penetration

For older concrete: degrease, pressure clean, acid etch if required

UVSeal is DIY-friendly and can be applied by brush, roller, or low-pressure spray. With proper surface preparation, both homeowners and contractors can achieve professional results.
3. Is Ultrakote UVSeal UV stable?
Yes – UVSeal is a high UV-resistant polyurethane, designed to resist yellowing, fading, and breakdown from sunlight, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
4. What surfaces can I use UVSeal on?

For best results, diamond grind the surface with 100 grit to open pores and remove contaminants. For older concrete, degreasing and acid etching may be required. Good prep ensures maximum adhesion and durability.
6. Can I make the surface slip-resistant?
Yes – you can achieve slip-resistant finishes by adding aluminium oxide anti-slip media into the coating. Different grit sizes can achieve ratings from P3 to P5 (R10–R12).
