Mixing ratio (A:B by weight): 4 : 1
Consumption: Guide: 0.7 - 1.5 kg/m² (refer to SikaWrap application method)
Ambient air temperature: +10 °C min. / +35 °C max.
Dew point: Substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C above dew point.
Substrate temperature: +10 °C min. / +35 °C max.
Substrate moisture content: < 4 % pbw
Pot Life (5 kg mix): ~90 minutes at +10 °C, ~60 minutes at +23 °C, ~30 minutes at +35 °C (EN ISO 9514)
Open Time: Approximately equivalent to pot life.
Important Considerations
- Protect from rain for at least 24 hours after application.
- Ensure fabric placement and lamination occurs within the open time.
- Tacky residue (blush) may form at low temperatures/high humidity; remove with warm, soapy water before overcoating.
- Pre-condition material for 24 hours in controlled temperature for optimal mixing and application.
- Consult a structural engineer for overcoating, layer numbers, and creep calculations.
- Long-term structural design load should account for creep (generally < 20-25% of failure load).
Application Instructions
SUBSTRATE QUALITY
Substrate must be sound with a minimum pull-off strength of 1.0 N/mm² or as per design specification (refer to SikaWrap manual dry application method).
MIXING
Pre-batched units: Mix components A+B for at least 3 minutes with a slow speed electric drill (max. 300 rpm) until smooth and uniform grey. Avoid aeration. Pour into a clean container and stir again for approx. 1 minute. Mix only what can be used within the pot life.
Bulk packing: Stir each component thoroughly. Add in correct proportions into a mixing pail and mix as above.

CLEANING OF EQUIPMENT
Clean all equipment immediately with Sika Colma Cleaner. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
