Important Considerations
- Must be used within one month after opening the container.
- Discard any primer that has gelled or separated.
- Primers are adhesion promoters, not a substitute for proper cleaning or a way to improve surface strength significantly.
Application Instructions
Substrate preparation
The substrate must be clean, dry, sound and homogeneous, free from oils, grease, dust and loose or friable particles. Cement laitance must be removed.
Application method / tools
Apply Sika Primer-3 N with a clean brush or roller to the substrate once. Tightly reseal the container immediately after each use.
Cleaning of equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment immediately after use. Once cured, residual material can only be removed mechanically.
