Application Information:

• Ambient air temperature: +10 °C min. / +30 °C max.
• Relative air humidity: 80 % max., 35 % min. (below +20 °C: 45 % min.)
• Substrate temperature: +10 °C min. / +30 °C max. (at least 3 °C above dew point)
• Substrate moisture content: < 4 % pbw (use Sikafloor 161 for moisture up to 6%)
• Pot Life: Apply immediately after opening. Surface film formation occurs within 1-2 hours.
• Curing time (before overcoating):
  • +10 °C: Minimum 36 hours, Maximum 5 days
  • +20 °C: Minimum 24 hours, Maximum 3 days
  • +30 °C: Minimum 16 hours, Maximum 2 days
• Applied product ready for use:
  • +10 °C: Rain resistant ~15 hours, Foot traffic ~1-2 days*, Full cure ~7-14 days*
  • +20 °C: Rain resistant ~5 hours, Foot traffic ~6-24 hours*, Full cure ~5-9 days*
  • +30 °C: Rain resistant ~3 hours, Foot traffic ~4-18 hours*, Full cure ~3-5 days*

  *Strongly influenced by layer thickness

Important Considerations:

• Do not apply on substrates with rising moisture.
• Protect freshly applied coating from damp, condensation, and water for at least 24 hours.
• Priming coats must be tack-free before overcoating.
• Apply during falling temperatures to avoid pinholing.
• Correct crack assessment and treatment are crucial.
• For exact colour matching, use the same batch numbers.
• High temperatures and point loading may cause imprints.
• Use electric-powered warm air blowers for heating.

Application Instructions:

Substrate Quality / Pre-treatment: Clean, dry, and free of contaminants. Remove dust and loose material. Pull-off strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm². Prime as recommended (diluted Sikafloor-400 N Elastic or Sikafloor 161).

Mixing: Stir mechanically for 3 minutes. Thin with Thinner C or Extender T if needed (avoid over mixing).

Application: As a primer, dilute with 10% Thinner C and apply by brush, roller, or squeegee. As a coating, pour and spread evenly with a trowel.

Cleaning of Equipment: Clean tools with Thinner C immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
