Consumption (Approximate):

• Walls: 0.4 Litres per m² per coat (minimum 2 coats). Total consumption: ~0.8 Litres per m².
• Floors & Perimeter Skirtings: 0.8 Litres per m² per coat (minimum 2 coats). Total consumption: ~1.6 Litres per m².

Application Guidelines (Refer to Full Product Data Sheet for Detailed Instructions):

• Ensure substrates are firm, clean, dry, structurally sound, and smooth.
• Prime all substrates with a suitable Sika primer (refer to the product data sheet for specific primer recommendations based on the substrate).
• Apply a minimum of 2 coats using a brush or short nap roller, ensuring the first coat is fully dry (indicated by colour change) before applying the second.
• Apply at the recommended coverage rates for walls and floors.
• Allow 4 hours drying time after the second coat before tiling.
• Flood test (if required) after 24 hours for a maximum duration of 2 hours.

Important Considerations:

Please note the following important points before using Sika Aqua Blok Rapid:

• Must not be applied over damp or wet substrates.
• Not suitable for negative head of water pressure or submerged applications like pools and spas.
• Do not apply if rain or bad weather is imminent.
• Must be applied at the recommended coverage rates.
• Not suitable as a trafficable, exposed, or UV stable coating.
• Do not use below 5°C or above 35°C.
• Timber floors must be over-sheeted with suitable underlay.
