Silcopel-WB is an advanced water-based penetrating sealer designed for porous stone, masonry, and concrete surfaces. Suitable for:

All commercial and domestic facades, walls, and floors. External or internal porous stone, concrete, and masonry products. Sealer can also be used as a pre-seal.

Preparation:

• Always test the product on a small area first and allow a 2-hour cure time to determine the ease of application and suitability of your surface type.
• With new grout, allow 48 hours, and for new concrete, allow 28 days before application.
• All surfaces should be thoroughly cleaned with NATURAL CLEAN. Heavily soiled acid-sensitive surfaces should be cleaned with D-GREASE, while non-acid-sensitive surfaces can be cleaned with D-SCALE. All surfaces should be neutralized with NATURAL CLEAN.
• Allow the surface to dry for approximately 12 to 24 hours before sealing.
• Ensure the surface is clean and free of residue and other contaminants.
• Tape up or protect nearby surfaces, as the sealer will bond to all siliceous materials, such as glass.
• Allow good ventilation and use proper PPE as per details on the SDS.
• Do not thin the product or alter the formula.

Application:

• Apply when the surface temperature is between 5–35 degrees C.
• Use a Solutions Sealers applicator, microfiber, airless sprayer, or paintbrush. Do not use a roller.
• The coats should be enough to wet the whole surface without leaving pools of sealer.
• On porous surfaces, apply 2 coats. The first coat as a flood coat saturating the surface without leaving puddles the following coats applied as a wet on
  wet application.
• Excess sealer can be buffed in with a cloth or, for larger areas, a scrubbing machine with a white nylon pad.
• On a wet-on-wet application, allow up to 15 minutes between coats. Excess should be removed before 15 minutes.
• Do not allow the sealer to contact glass, painted surfaces, plastic, or vinyl.

Coverage:

Porous surfaces: First coat: ~4 square meters per litre, Second coat: 4–6 square meters per litre.

Dense surfaces: 7–12 square meters per litre.
