Application:
- Apply when surface temperature is between 5 – 35 degrees C.
- Use Solutions Sealers applicator, microfibre, airless sprayer, or paint brush. Do not use a roller.
- The coats should be enough to wet the whole surface without saturating and leaving pools of sealer.
- Avoid excessive working of the sealer as this will cause foaming.
- On dense surfaces, apply a light, even coat, followed by a second light coat. Some surfaces may only require one coat.
- Excess sealer can be buffed in with a cloth, or for larger areas, a scrubbing machine with a white nylon pad.
- Allow at least 15 minutes between coats. Excess should be removed after 15 minutes.
- Do not allow sealer to contact painted surfaces, plastic, vinyl, etc.
Coverage:
Average coverage varies from 5-10 square metres per litre depending on porosity.
Dense surfaces: 12-20 square metres per litre.
Pre-sealing with Silcopel or Tilers Preseal can reduce the amount of product required.
