Nutech PaveCoat H2O Water Based Concrete Sealer for Driveways & Decorative Concrete

Nutech PaveCoat H2O is a high-performance water based acrylic concrete sealer designed to protect and enhance both new and existing uncoated concrete surfaces. Ideal for concrete driveways, garage floors, pathways and decorative concrete, this penetrating sealer provides long-lasting protection while improving the colour and finish of the surface.

Unlike solvent-based sealers, PaveCoat H2O features a low VOC, environmentally friendly formula that is safer to apply while still delivering excellent durability and UV resistance. Once applied, the sealer penetrates the concrete and forms a protective layer that helps resist oil stains, grease, abrasion and weathering.

The standard gloss finish enhances the appearance of decorative concrete, making it an excellent choice for stencil concrete, stamped paving and other decorative outdoor surfaces.

Important Application Notes

PaveCoat H2O is recommended for new or old uncoated concrete surfaces only. It is not suitable for application over other existing coatings unless recoating a previous PaveCoat H2O finish.

If the concrete surface is powdery or soft, avoid acid etching or acid washing as this may damage the surface.

Anti-Slip Recommendations

Without the addition of an anti-slip additive, sealed surfaces may become slippery when wet, particularly on smooth or steep surfaces.

For improved safety, the addition of a Nutech AntiSlip Mix-In is recommended. When applied correctly, this can help achieve slip resistance ratings in accordance with:

AS 4586
AS 4663 Wet P2 or Wet P3 Pendulum rating

For steep gradients greater than 1 in 14, a higher slip rating such as P5 or R12 may be required.

For these applications, Nutech recommends using EPiC PolyCryl (Exterior & Interior) or EPiC Epoxy 500 (Interior only) together with suitable AntiSlip Cast-On products.
