Nutech PaveCoat 20L Matte is a premium solvent-based acrylic concrete sealer designed to protect and enhance driveways, paving and decorative concrete surfaces. Delivering a natural low-sheen finish, this matte concrete sealer provides long-lasting protection without the high-gloss “wet look”.

Coverage Rate: 4–6m² per litre per coat

A 20L drum typically covers approximately 80–120m² per coat, depending on surface porosity and texture.

Allow new concrete to cure for a minimum of 7 days before sealing. For same-day sealing applications, refer to PaveCoat Cure & Seal.

Provisions

Pre Coated Surfaces: PaveCoat IS NOT suitable to be used as an over coat for standard enamel floor finishes. To determine the suitability of the pre coated surface, refer Nutech Coating Test Kit or contact Nutech Paint.

Anti-Slip properties: Without the addition of an anti-slip additive, PaveCoat may not be suitable for steep, smooth surfaces or areas of high trafficability. The addition of a Nutech AntiSlip Mix In product is recommended which will meet the performance criteria outlined in AS 4586 and AS 4663 Wet P2 or Wet P3 Pendulum rating, depending on the grade and addition level. Refer to the PaveCoat Application Guide for further information.

Note: For steep inclines and gradients greater than 1 in 14, a P5 or R12 rating will be required. Nutech Paint recommends EPiC PolyCryl (Exterior & Interior) OR EPiC Epoxy 500 (Interior only) with the addition of the suitable AntiSlip Cast On products for this application.

Notes

General:

Allow a minimum 7 days for new concrete to cure prior to sealing
For same day sealing, refer PaveCoat Cure & Seal
Powdery or soft Concrete: DO NOT etch as this may damage the surface
Old, Heavily Soiled/Stained Surfaces: Pre-treat the surface with Nu-EcoSafe Degreaser
For anti-slip properties that meet AS4586 & AS4663 - P2 or P3 ratings Nutech Paint recommends AntiSlip Mix In. Ideally suited for wet areas, pools, factory loading docks, access ramps (with less than a 5° incline), stairs, entrance foyers, public pedestrian and vehicle areas.
