Nutech Metal Primer is a water-based, corrosion-resistant acrylic primer designed for superior adhesion and protection on a range of metal surfaces. It’s the ideal base coat for roof sheeting, gutters, and metal cladding, including previously coated sheeted roofs. It’s ideal for use with Nutech Flexishield and Nutech NXT Cool Zone top coats to create a high-performance, weatherproof finish.
Metal Primer is a water-based acrylic primer and can be applied to a range of metal surfaces such as:

Important Notes
- SUBSTRATE surface temperature must not be below 10°C and not exceed 50°C
- ADHESION may be affected when applied to cold or hot metal surfaces
- ENSURE no surface moisture is present prior to application
- CONSIDERATION must be given to other climatic conditions such as wind and relative humidity
- DO NOT apply topcoat until the primer is completely dry
- DO NOT apply Metal Primer in very cold conditions
- DO NOT Apply to extremely hot surfaces
- Failure to observe these provisions may affect coating adhesion
