Satin Seal (WB) is a two-component, clear high solids, UV light stable, water-based polyurethane sealer designed to provide a satin finish for decorative flooring systems.

It is typically used as a seal coat for Flowcrete decorative systems and can also be applied directly onto polished concrete surfaces.

The water-based polyurethane formulation provides excellent colour stability when exposed to UV light and offers a non-yellowing finish. With a pre-formulated satin finish, Satin Seal (WB) does not require the addition of a matting agent before application.

Designed for easy roller application, Satin Seal (WB) provides a smooth or non-slip satin finish and is suitable for internal and external applications according to the manufacturer requirements.

Satin Seal (WB) is a 2-component, clear water-based polyurethane sealer that provides a durable satin finish. It is typically used as a seal coat for Flowcrete decorative flooring systems or applied directly over polished concrete.

2. Can Satin Seal (WB) be used outdoors?

Yes. Satin Seal (WB) is UV light stable and suitable for both internal and external applications. Its UV stability helps provide colour stability and a non-yellowing clear finish when exposed to sunlight.

3. What finish does Satin Seal (WB) provide?

Satin Seal (WB) provides a smooth or non-slip satin finish. It is clear and pre-formulated, so no separate matting agent is required.

4. How much Satin Seal (WB) do I need?

Over ground concrete, the typical coverage is 5.5–10 m²/L per coat, while over Flowcrete Terrosso Flake it is approximately 5.5–7.7 m²/L per coat. A minimum of two coats is recommended over unsealed concrete.

5. How long does Satin Seal (WB) take to cure?

At 20°C, Satin Seal (WB) can be overcoated after approximately 8 hours, with foot traffic possible after 16 hours and vehicular traffic after 48 hours. Full chemical cure is achieved after approximately 7 days.

6. Is Satin Seal (WB) a low-VOC polyurethane sealer?

Yes. Satin Seal (WB) is a low-VOC, water-based polyurethane sealer with a VOC content of less than 50 g/L. It complies with the listed Green Star requirements and is designed for easy roller application.
