Flowseal UV Satin is a two-component, UV stable, abrasion-resistant aliphatic polyurethane sealer designed to provide a durable Satin/Semi gloss finish for Flowcrete flooring systems.

Flowseal UV Satin is designed as a final seal coat for decorative flooring systems and can also be applied directly onto honed and polished concrete.

The clear finish provides a protective satin seal while enhancing decorative flooring systems, while the coloured finish provides a UV stable coloured protective coating to further enhance the performance of Flowcrete flooring systems.

1. What is Flowseal UV Satin used for?

Flowseal UV Satin is a UV-stable polyurethane seal coat designed for concrete and Flowcrete epoxy or polyurethane flooring systems. It provides a durable satin finish with strong UV, chemical and abrasion resistance.

2. Is Flowseal UV Satin suitable for outdoor flooring?

Yes. Flowseal UV Satin is UV resistant and suitable for internal and external applications. It provides excellent resistance to harsh UV rays and is designed to maintain colour stability when exposed to sunlight.

3. What finish does Flowseal UV Satin provide?

Flowseal UV Satin is available in a clear or coloured satin finish. It creates a seamless, hygienic and low-maintenance surface and can be specified with a P1 slip resistance rating under the stated system conditions.

4. How long does Flowseal UV Satin take to cure?

At 20°C, Flowseal UV Satin typically allows foot traffic after 24 hours and vehicular traffic after 72 hours. Full chemical cure is achieved after approximately 7 days. Cure times can vary with temperature and site conditions.

5. How much Flowseal UV Satin is required?

The specified system applies two coats at approximately 0.15 kg/m² per coat. Coverage can vary depending on the substrate and application conditions, so the required quantity should be calculated according to the project specification.

6. Can Flowseal UV Satin be applied over existing Flowcrete flooring?

Yes. It can be applied over existing Flowcrete epoxy or polyurethane flooring systems, provided the correct surface preparation is completed. When applying over an existing Flowcrete system, the product should generally be applied within 24 hours at 20°C; otherwise, consult Flowcrete Australia.

Colour Accuracy Disclaimer: We have taken care to display the most accurate visuals of our products. However, we are not responsible for the colour accuracy of the device you are viewing our swatches on. These variations arise due to different computer monitors and devices (make, model and technology, as well as resolution, contrast and brightness control settings) in much the same way a scan will differ from an original image and a colour photocopy. Furthermore, coatings can exhibit variation in perceived colour depending on gloss level and application method. If you require a very specific colour match, please make your selection via actual swatches and colour boards available at our showroom.

Product Disclaimer: Ensure you read all product, technical and safety data sheets prior to application as liability falls on the applicator. All products must be applied in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended method.
