Dulux Professional Ceiling Paint 15L Flat White

Dulux Ceiling Paint is a self priming FLAT paint for Internal Ceilings and usually speaking it requires minimum of two coats and coverage per litre is 8-10sqm. 15litre will cover between 100 - 120sqm and for the first coat I would recommend adding 10% water.

Dulux Professional Ceiling is a premium, ultra flat, tintable, water based top coat, designed for use on ceilings. It is a low spatter paint with excellent application and wet edge technology that helps deliver a smooth and uniform finish. It has superior hiding power, can be easily touched up, and is especially formulated with high opacity, low VOC*, low odour and mould resistance properties.

Uses:

Use Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat White paint on all ceilings where a very flat finish is required.

Performance Guide:

• Weather: Not suitable for exterior use
• Heat Resistance: Up to 70C
• Water: Resists light washing and water splash
• Solvent: Sensitive to alcohols, aromatic hydrocarbons and ketones

Note: Do not paint at temperatures below 10C or when the temperature of surface may fall below 10C during the drying period

Surface Preparation

Previously painted surfaces
Surfaces must be sanded to remove loose, peeling, flaking or chalky paint. Fill any cracks or holes with a suitable filler. Sand all gloss and semi gloss surfaces to a dull finish and wipe down with a damp cloth to remove surface dust. Apply one coat of Dulux Professional Acrylic Sealer Undercoat or Dulux Professional Total Prep Acrylic to any areas that have been repaired or which have an uneven gloss level.
Bare paperfaced plasterboard
Apply one coat of Dulux Professional Acrylic Sealer Undercoat or Dulux Professional Total Prep Acrylic.
Bare set plaster, fibrous plaster, plasterglass
Apply one coat of Dulux Professional Oil Based Primer Sealer Undercoat. For best results on bare set plaster and powdery surfaces apply one coat of an appropriate sealer binder.

Application Procedure and Equipment

Stir contents thoroughly before and during use with a broad flat stirrer, using an upward lifting action. Apply two coats of Dulux Professional Ceiling Flat Premium Acrylic ensuring that the first coat is completely dry before applying the second.
Brush/Roller
For best results, use a 50-63 mm, high quality brush and 11-18mm, synthetic or dacron roller. Rinse brush or roller in water before starting and use while still slightly damp. Apply full even coats direct from the container. Under hot conditions or on very absorbent surfaces, up to 100ml clean water may be added per litre to assist application.
Airless Spray
Suitable for application by all standard spray equipment. If necessary, thin with up to 100ml per litre of water to aid atomisation.
Spraying Advice:
Low Pressure Tip sizes: 0.015 - 0.023" @1200 -1800 PSI
Standard Tip sizes: 0.015 - 0.019" @1800-2400PSI
