Solutions Sealers Densify K Colloidal Potassium Silicate Sealer

Densify-K is a high-performance colloidal potassium silicate sealer, primarily used as the first stage in the concrete polishing process. Suitable for both domestic and commercial applications, it provides exceptional durability and protection for concrete surfaces. This high solids formula chemically bonds to the substrate, offering superior dust-proofing and hardening capabilities. As a water-based densifying sealer, it ensures a safer, environmentally friendly application while delivering robust performance. It's invisible finish maintains the natural appearance of your concrete surfaces, making it an ideal choice for enhancing and protecting polished concrete.

Preparation:

• Always test product on an area first and allow a 1 hour cure time to determine the ease of application and suitability of your surface.
• Ensure surface is clean and free of residues and other contaminates.
• Use proper PPE as per details on the SDS.
• Do not thin product or alter formula.
• Concrete should be 28 days old

Coverage:

About 10 square metres per litre per coat depending on porosity of surface

Application:

Apply when surface temperature is between 5 – 35 degrees C. Use a broom, mop or squeegee to spread product evenly across the area. Saturate the surface without leaving puddles. Always remove excess product after 30 minutes. If a surface is particularly porous, a second coat can be applied preferably after 12 hours. Do not allow excess product to dry on surface. Densifying surface for floor polishing. Can be used as a hardener on a boney or weak slab. After application leave overnight before grinding slab and recoat with Densify K. Leave overnight after each application of Densify K and before resin grinding and using Densify L.
